Dear Members,
On behalf of the Executive Committee, I would like to thank Capt. Uzair Khan (Chief of Flight Operations/DFO) for gracing the occasion with his presence at the PALPA Annual Dinner which took place in Lahore on the 23rd of March 2018, making it special and successful. This also provided PALPA and it’s members to share their concerns in an open and relaxed forum.
A lot of issues came under discussion with the Director Flight Operations, the most significant one being the recent onslaught of PCAA upon the membership in the form of ONCRs, which resulted in substantial financial penalties to be levied against PALPA members.
Director Flight Operations assured PALPA Executive Committee and it’s membership that the Management of PIACL is already negotiating the matter with the PCAA and is expecting it to be resolved shortly.
Furthermore, to express his seriousness and resolve in favour of the membership, he categorically announced on behalf of the Directorate of Flight Operations that “no member shall pay any financial penalty relating to ONCR”
We would also like to thank the entire membership for placing their trust and continued support in favour of the incumbent PALPA Executive Committee.
