Dear Members,
السلام عليكم
We are reaching out to address several critical issues that have recently surfaced and to reaffirm our commitment to transparency and unity within PALPA. The PALPA Executive Committee is aware of the malicious rumors being spread by a few individuals on social media. We advise you to ignore these false allegations, as they are intended to mislead our membership. Our committee is dedicated to upholding all legal obligations and strictly adhering to rules and regulations.
It is imperative to stay informed and vigilant as we navigate the privatization process, pension concerns, and the upcoming election procedures. Misinformation has been circulating, aimed at undermining our solidarity. Some individuals have stolen official documents, posted them on social media, and misinterpreted their contents, but they have been disciplined according to our constitution. We must remain united and proactive in seeking accurate information directly from official sources as we diligently monitor these issues to ensure PALPA’s unity and integrity. However, it is also your responsibility to verify any information before accepting it as truth. If you encounter any ambiguity or have questions, please approach the PALPA Executive Committee directly for clarification. Do not rely on unauthorized sources for information.
We are closely monitoring the privatization process to safeguard the perks and privileges of both retired and active members, such as pensions, medical benefits, and travel allowances. Ensuring these benefits remain intact is crucial as changes are implemented. Vigilant oversight is essential to protect the rights and welfare of all members during this transition. Regarding the pension issue, the PALPA Executive Committee and the management are actively working on it, and we are hopeful that the matter will be resolved soon.
Regarding the election process, the elections will proceed as per the court’s decision, and we will adhere to their ruling in both letter and spirit. Moreover, fake audit reports have been circulating on social media and are being misrepresented. Please disregard these reports. The official audit report will be presented according to established procedures at the appropriate time. It will be submitted for approval during the AGM. Any member wishing to obtain a copy of the audit report prior to the AGM can request it, and it will be provided at least 15 days before the AGM. Additionally, any questions or concerns regarding the audit report will be addressed during the AGM. Ensuring transparency and accountability, all previous audit reports up to June 30, 2022, are available on the PALPA website.
In view of the above, we urge all members to remain united and support PALPA steadfastly. Stand with us shoulder to shoulder as we navigate these challenges together.
With Best Regards,
Capt. Narejo
GENERAL SECRETARY
