With reference to the attached letter (Ref: PALPA/G/06/41 dated 23rd March 2020), the PALPA Executive Committee approved deduction of three days BASIC salary. However, the PIACL management wrongfully deducted three days of GROSS salary.
This illegal deduction has been called to the attention of the Chief of Flight Operations/DFO who has assured us that the matter will be resolved and the wrongful deductions will be returned to all PALPA members.
Members will be kept informed of any further development on this subject.
