A letter (PALPA/G/122/42 dated 25th March, 2020) has been despatched to Chief of Flight Operations/DFO on the above stated subject with copy to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Pilot Safety PIACL, the contents of the letter attached are self explanatory.

Keeping the safety, health and security of our members as the utmost priority, specific pre-requisites have been emphasized:

a. Protective Measures SOPs
b. FDTL Flight Pattern Compliance
c. Written Surety for provision of Medical Care in the case of any unfortunate incident

PALPA remains committed to its core function of ensuring safer skies in our country, while keeping the health and safety of our members, and passengers paramount. Only after compliance with the aforementioned pre-requisites will PALPA members accept humanitarian flights on a solely voluntary basis.

As always, we remain steadfast in our resolve to perform to the best of our abilities for our nation and fellow countrymen, while safeguarding the interest and welfare of our membership.
